Timings
The spa days are booked by session appointments for each of the facility and therapist treatments. On the day, we will personally guide you round to each treatment so that you can relax and have a timeless session in The Spa.
This means that it is important that you are early or on time for your spa day, so that you do not miss any of your booked appointments.
Here is a rough guide to the lengths of each spa day:
(Times will vary as they are subject to other client bookings and may take longer if it is a group booking)
Spa Day Refresher: 2hr - 2.5hr*
Short Spa Day: 3hr - 3.5hr, a morning or afternoon*
Spa Day: 3.5hr - 4hr, a long morning or afternoon*
Full Spa Day: 6.5hr - 7hr, a start time of 10.00am to finish at around 5.00pm
Luxury Spa Day: 8hr - 8.5hr, a start time of 9.30am (9.15am for new clients) to finish at around 6.00pm
*These will all be longer if in a group. If in a group, you will have the Physiotherm, Dusk Room and Beach together. Therapist treatments (such as massage) and the Dry Flotation are treatments experienced on your own.
Physiotherm
The Physiotherm is the UK's first six seater unit. Bask in the warmth of this infra-red heat treatment. A gentler heat than a conventional sauna, it increases your core body temperature by 0.4 degrees for a deep detox which improves circulation, increases metabolic rate and relaxes muscles wonderfully. Nourish your body with the deeply relaxing moods created by the colour therapy and absorb the smell of the aromatherapy oils.
Dry Flotation
A wonderful experience for complete relaxation. Your body is wrapped in a water blanket and you are gently lowered into warm water, keeping dry and becoming weightless. You drift away into tranquility and come out feeling as though you've had hours of rest.
The Beach
Walk through a bamboo hut door into The Beach Experience and bathe in the unique 'real sun'. Imagine relaxing on a deck chair on a sandy beach, in tropical surroundings, with the sound of waves and a gentle breeze, and the feel of 30º sunshine on your body.
It's achieved by a revolutionary Swedish invention - the 'real sun' simulator, replicating 100% real sunlight with UVA and UVB filters to make it completely safe (so no tanning). It generates both heat and incredibly strong light, leading to a unique experience for the purpose of health, relaxation and well-being; such as combatting SAD, strengthening the immune system, relief from joint and muscle aches, increased circulation and improvement of skin problems.
Dusk Room
The Dusk Room is a relaxation room that contains beds contoured for your body with blankets to snuggle into. The atmosphere invites you to slow down and simply be.
Light Lunch
A Light Lunch comes with the Full Spa Day and Luxury Spa Day. It includes a panini with salad and crisps and a hot drink.
Lunch and drinks are available for other clients at an extra cost (see below) if it is booked in with your treatment/spa days (we can work your treatments around your lunch if requested when booking).
Please note that last minute requests may not be available, however there is a lovely Coffee House downstairs for before or after your time at The Spa.

What do I need to bring?
All you need is your swimwear (or shorts and t-shirt or whatever you are comfortable in) to use the facilities (and a book if you'd like to read one!) We provide towels, soft white robes for you to wear and slippers for spa day guests.
I am pregnant, are the spa days suitable for me?
Heat treatments are not recommended for pregnant women and therefore the spa days will not be suitable for you if you are pregnant as they include use of the Physiotherm and Dry Flotation.
However, after the first 3 months of pregnancy, we do have treatments available, such as our Mother-to-Be Spa Day which includes the Mother-to-Be Treatment (see below) with the Beach Experience and Dusk Room (£85).
Mother-to-be / Nursing Mums
1 hour 25 mins (£75)
Great for your unborn baby as well. It includes a relaxing Body Massage and Facial that are 100% safe for both of you in pregnancy (or all of you depending how many you are carrying!) and for you when nursing. We use only natural ingredients and the treatment is tailored to your specific needs (e.g. achey feet!). Ideal for circulation, stretch marks, cellulite, lack of skin elasticity and water retention. Relieve all those muscular aches and pains. A special moment for you.
Mother-to-be Spa Day
2 hours 25 mins (£85)
Includes the Mother-to-be treatment (above), Beach Experience (25 mins) and Dusk Room.
A longer time of relaxation before and after your treatment. This is great to have on your own, with another mother-to-be or with others on spa days.
The Beach
Great for pregnancy as it is real sunlight but with UV filters so you can have the benefits of the Vitamin D and goodness of the sun (plus feel like you're on holiday as you lie on our lounger on the sand!)
The Beach: 25 mins = £20, 55 mins = £30 (Up to 4 people)
Massage and Facials
Our Massages can be tailored appropriately to give you a gentle, relaxing massage for the aches and pains in the areas you need (feet, legs etc). We will book you with our qualified pregnancy massage therapists:
Back Massage: 25 mins, £35
Swedish (Full Body) Massage: 55 mins, £55
Similiarly with our facials, our therapists will use appropriate products for you:
Feel Good Facial: 25 mins, £35
Prescription Facial: 55 mins, £50
Hands and Feet
Manicure: 40 mins, £25
Pedicure: 45 mins, £30
Luxury Manicure: 1 hour, £40
Luxury Pedicure: 1 hour, £42
Waxing
Waxing is very popular for pregnant ladies in The Spa.
Full leg, Regular Bikini & Underarm: 55 mins, £37
