Walking
We are on Watford High Street next to TJ Hughes. The Spa is above Presence Gift Shop and Coffee House (The Spa entrance is clearly seen inside the Gift Shop on the left before you get to the Coffee House). Please click here to see a map.
Car Parks
The closest car park is The Gade, which has an all-day fee of around £5. Also close is the Harlequin's car park called Charter (which is convenient but more expensive). Please click here for more car park information (prices may vary).
Trains
We are walking distance from Watford High Street Rail Station (Metropolitan Line) (0.4 miles) and Watford Junction Rail Station (Overground to Euston) (0.5 miles). Please click here to see a map.
Your Time at The Spa
To get the most of your time at The Spa, we kindly ask that you please:
Arrive 10-15 minutes before your treatment, to fill out a new client card (on your first visit) and to get the overall spa experience. Please be aware that late arrivals may mean that treatment time has to be reduced.
Turn off your mobile phone before entering The Spa, so that you can enjoy your treatment in a serene and peaceful environment.
Give us at least 24 hours notice if you need to change or cancel an appointment and we'll be happy to do so. With less than 24 hours notice, we will have to charge for therapist time.
Leave all children with a friend or relative before coming to The Spa. We regret that children are not permitted in The Spa, all facilites including the lounge, to give you some peace, to respect others and to preserve the environment of peace and tranquility. There is a coffee house downstairs that has a small children's play area, so some clients arrange for a friend or relative to look after children downstairs for the duration of their treatment.
Gift Vouchers
Treat someone special! Gift vouchers for The Spa are available for any value (£), treatment or Spa Day. You can purchase them in The Spa, in both Presence Gift Shops (on the High Street and Harlequin) or we can take over-the-phone payment and post them to you. Vouchers are valid for one year and are only redeemable in The Spa at Presence. Whatever the occasion, it's a great treat for anybody.

What to bring? All you need to bring is swimwear for the facilities, we provide a soft white gown and slippers.
A light lunch comes with the Full Spa Day and Luxury Spa Day. Lunches and refreshments are available for other clients, but please book them when you book your spa day.
Disability Access
The Spa has a stairlift (one of our team will happily carry non-electric wheelchairs up the stairs for you) and then wheelchair access in The Spa itself.
Contra-indications
Please let The Spa know when you book if you are pregnant or have any health issues that you think will affect you treatment. On arrival, new clients will be given a client card to state any contra-indications.
We do not recommend body treatments in the first 3 months of pregnancy. For more on our Mother-to-be treatments, please see the bottom of the Spa Day page.
Please do not consume alcohol before your treatment (and we advise you drink lots of water after a massage treatment).
We do not recommend heat treatments after waxing.
